JONAS BROTHERS

The Jonas Brothers have been voted the Worst Band by UK fans.  The trio formed by Kevin, Joe and Nick received the Worst Band and Album award at the 2010 NME Awards in London. Green Day, Oasis, Paramore and JLS were also nominated in the Worst Band category this year. Their last album, 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times' gained the gold or platinum certificate in over six countries, and climbed at  # 9 on the UK charts.

The Jonas Brothers are already working on their new album, it was confirmed. A source told Galaxy magazine, they "have already started writing songs"  while Nick tell MTV News, “We've got a lot of exciting things coming this year as the Jonas Brothers and individually. .. we're going to be spending a lot of tome together - then we're working on plans for a world tour." In related news, the siblings have received three nominations for the Kids’ Choice Awards. They are up for Favorite Music Group, and Joe and Nick are each up for Favorite TV Actor for their show .“

Joe Jonas gives fans a relief by confirming the Jonas Brothers will be back. Despite rumors of a breakup, Joe revealed the happy message on Ryan Seacrest show. "I definitely think we [Jonas Brothers] will come back for another album because we love what we do and we love being in a band together.”  He explained, “We’ve wanted to take some time off for a while now. We’ve been touring hardcore for two and a half, three years, so it’s nice to have a little break where we all can take a break and do some different things.” Joe also talked about his solo projects, “I want to so some acting - find the right movie and all. I’ve also been in the studio writing a lot with my friends. Not sure where that’s going to lead, whether it’s another JB album or a side deal.”
